Published children's book: Zrínyi Ilona

Hungarian children's book publisher Csimota asked me to illustrate a book written by Ildi Vibók for children above 7 years. I created the illustrations using watercolor with colored pencils and retouched / repainted them in Photoshop. It is my very first published children's book and it was a nice experience to create over 75 illustrations including the cover for the book, and making it print-ready too.

The book is about a sister and a brother whose uncle is being kidnapped while they are watching a 3D cinema movie which takes place in the jungle. They seek help from the scientist Dr. Falatka who is working at the superheroes rental office. The children hire Ilona Zrínyi, one of Hungarian history's biggest hero to help them fight the evil. The story is placed both in the jungle in the film and in the real world museum.
